Picky Prickles Hedgehog Kibble Mix
We are a recently Retired Pedigreed & Licensed breeder and were breeding from 2020 to 2022, but have owned hedgehogs for 5+ years. Our mix has been tested and fed to over 300+ hedgehogs & we have pleased all picky eaters!
Adding variety, proper nutrition, and a perfect blend of %'s are our top priorities to ensure happy and healthy hedgehogs. We also keep our blend at the perfect fat % as obesity can be a common health concern for most hedgehogs.
We pride ourselves on having a healthy weighted herd even with free feeding.
Our mix also saves YOU money, especially for single hog homes as making a mix with multiple kibbles can be very costly & wasteful as it can take a very long time for your hedgehog to eat through it!
Each batch is made fresh and in small quantities to ensure freshness for your little prickle.
Our kibble mix is Chicken based but also contains Turkey, Beef, Fish, and other animal based proteins! So please be aware if your hedgehog has intolerances to certain proteins.
1LB of Food is Equal to About 1 Month for ONE Hedgehog. Hedgehogs should only be fed 1-2 TBSP's of Kibble a Night.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
Slowly add our kibble mix to your current hogs food over the course of a week while dwindling down on their old food. Switching your hogs diet over too quickly can cause stomach upset; taking your time to switch them over can ensure poops stay regular! With our added probiotics, it helps with the transition.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Once you open the bag, you can either zip close after each use or switch to an air-tight container. If buying in bulk or finding it takes a bit to get through your mix, we recommend bagging your mix in small batches and putting it in the freezer. Keeping kibble in the freezer can help maintain flavor; just be sure to fully defrost kibble before feeding!
